HS2 Action Group- Fundraising and next meeting

Our appeal for donations is in full swing.  Very many thanks to all those of you who have recently contributed to our fundraising appeal.  We are extremely grateful.

However, we still need more to reach our target of £5000!! The anticipated expenses for legal and other professional assistance to support our campaign are enormous, and so we ask all of you who have not yet donated to contribute to our efforts to stop the high speed train.  All residents should have received a request for donations – please use the form which accompanied this request.  If it has gone missing or you did not receive one, please phone Mike Geddes on 01926.425752 or Francis Daniell on 01926.336760 and we will provide another one.

Next meeting

Our next meeting will be on Monday 20 December at 7.30 at Ford Farm, Welsh Road.  By then the government will have published its final proposals for the route and details of the public consultation due to start in the new year, so we will have plenty to discuss.
